The Himalayas are called the Third Pole as after the North and South Poles, it houses the biggest chunk of permanent ice on Earth, and as a consequence also gets affected heavily by global warming. The Third pole E base would be an active breeding ground for all sorts of interactive and experiential educational initiatives between the Ladakhian and the global community
